Lala, also known as TravelingLala, was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She lived there the first 10 years of her life then immigrated to Southern California. There, she lived in Echo Park for 20 years before deciding to live the life of a vagabond. She left her cushy city job and went to work on boats and live abroad.
Lala graduated from the University of Hard Knocks with a Master in the Arts of Survival and a Minor in Streetology. She currently lives in the L.A. area and is working there as a dancer, accountant assistant, process server and countless other miscellaneous side jobs. She is currently taking a course on Digital Marketing at the University of Youtube and is striving to become a successful podcaster.
Lala considers herself to have the qualities of a cat. She enjoys laying on a couch by a window that gets the most sun and reading a book. She loves all things art. She loves gourmet foods and drinks and tries to take professional photos of them. She dabbles in a little of everything but is a master of nothing. Her favorite quote is “No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn” by The Doors.
About me (Richmo)
I was born in Huntington Park California to parents of Mexican (Dad) and Peruvian (Mom) decent. I lived in Los Angeles for most of my life except for travel for work.
In the 90s I spent time in LA underground music scene creating visuals for friends and their parties, I became part of a collective of artists and promoters that spent their time dancing through the night.
Music is a celebration of life and I respect it to my core.
I am a lover of art, food, wine, and conversation, I respect other cultures and customs. I love animals, but I’m not opposed to a good meal that includes them.
I’m still left wondering if the brown and black cows have different flavors now, since LaLa, put that childish excerpt in my head.
I’ve been learning the craft of visual story telling my whole life, and I’m still not tired of it.
Mondays are just a day closer to Friday, every day is think, act, feel, and be.
